hello, this helps my whole body get really strong especially when I lift my head up.
great reaching to the sides for a big high five.
"I can skip now after practising in groups and at school at lunch times."
For someone who hates to be touched this is fantastic squishing by Dad.
Working on postural stability and prone extension which is very hard, keep those legs straight if you can. Using the balls are great for strengthening shoulder area by doing push ups.
Kids squishing each other- great fun. fantastic proprioceptive activity trying to crawl out and provides deep pressure to whole body surfaces too.
resistance activities with parents. Learning to push against each other can be a great way to calm yourself down and to grade your own pressure and force.
pushing forward against each other provides resistance and you can do it against a wall if noone is around to help. This works on proprioception.
standing against the wall and slowly squat down. This is excellent for balance and postural stability. Well done kids.
My favourite part squishing the children, and they love it soooo much. great fun and obviously they get a chance to get me back too.
Lay on your back and parents throw big therapy ball down onto your flat hands. push the ball back with enough but not too much force.
Cosy den /womb space. Retreating to a safe space when you have had too much can really help you calm down at times.
